Transparency on artificial intelligence
This site is a developer's work, supported by artificial intelligence. Here is where AI helped, under what human control, and what the European regulation requires.
Last updated: October 2026
In short
- This site is the work of a web developer, supported by an AI assistant: the AI suggests, the developer decides, checks and publishes, and Nexa approves all content.
- No AI system talks with you on this site, and no Nexa online tool decides using AI: the BACS Qualifier and NexaQuant calculate with formulas and standardised factors.
- No data about you is sent to an AI service.
A developer's work, supported by AI
- The web developer
- Gathers Nexa's needs, designs the structure and the look, writes and reviews the code, tests the site and puts it online. Every choice stays with the developer.
- The AI assistant
- Helps the developer, on request: wording, translations, code suggestions. It publishes nothing itself: every suggestion is reviewed, corrected or discarded.
- Nexa Smart Solutions
- Supplies the information, reviews the texts and approves the site before publication. Nexa holds editorial responsibility for the content.
Where AI is involved, and where it is not
| Part of the site | Role of AI | Tool · provider | Human control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Concept and design | Assistance: the AI suggests options; the developer chooses, adjusts and approves them with Nexa. | Anthropic · Claude (general-purpose assistant) | The developer's choices, approved by Nexa. |
| Page texts | Writing assistance: the developer writes from Nexa's documents and uses AI for wording and formatting. | Anthropic · Claude | Reviewed and corrected by the developer, approved by Nexa before publication. |
| Translations (NL, EN) | First draft translation of the French texts. | Anthropic · Claude | Reviewed by the developer and by Nexa before publication. |
| Code and 3D models | Assistance to the developer: code suggestions, which the developer reviews, tests and integrates. The 3D models are drawn by a program: they are not AI-generated images. | Anthropic · Claude | Code reviewed and tested by the developer; result approved by Nexa. |
| Photos | None: Nexa site photos and real illustration photos from Unsplash, labelled and credited. | — | — |
| Logos | None: official files supplied by Nexa or published by the organisations. | — | — |
| BACS Qualifier | None: thresholds from the European rules (70 and 290 kW) and EN ISO 52120-1 factors, calculated in your browser. | — | Indicative result, confirmed by an engineer during a meeting. |
| NexaQuant | None: efficiency factors from EN 15232-1. | — | — |
| Values in the models | None: fictitious values, labelled as such. | — | — |
| Contact form | None: your messages are read and handled by the Nexa team. | — | — |
Providers and data
Nexa does not develop AI models. The site was designed and developed by Nexa's web agency, supported by Claude, a general-purpose assistant provided by Anthropic.
For this work, the assistant received the documents Nexa supplied for that purpose (presentations, texts, project list). No visitor data is sent to an AI service: BACS Qualifier answers stay in your browser, and messages sent through the forms go straight to the team (see the privacy policy).
Good to know
- The texts have been reviewed, but an error may remain. Results from the online tools are estimates: only an audit and an engineer's advice are authoritative.
- The 3D models are illustrations: the buildings and the values they show are fictitious.
- If an AI feature is added to the site or to our tools (NexaQuant, NexaInsights), it will be described on this page before it goes live, and flagged where it appears.
Legal framework
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the “AI Act”) requires people to be informed when they interact with an AI system (Article 50(1)), and AI-generated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest to be disclosed as such, unless it has undergone human review and someone holds editorial responsibility for it (Article 50(4)). These obligations have applied since 2 August 2026.
On this site, no AI system interacts with visitors, and texts prepared with AI assistance are reviewed by Nexa, which holds editorial responsibility for them. This page goes beyond those obligations: for transparency, it states where AI was used.
Nexa is not a provider of an AI system within the meaning of the Regulation. Its web agency, which developed the site with the support of a general-purpose AI assistant provided by Anthropic, is its deployer.
